User Guide:

How to Use the DIY Cost Estimator:

1. Add Materials:

   • In the Material Name field, enter the name of the material you are using (e.g., Wood, Nails, Paint).
   • Enter the Cost per Unit (the price of each unit of the material) in the Material Cost per Unit ($) field.
   • Specify how many Units of the material you need by filling out the Quantity (Units) field.
   • Click the Add Material button to add the material to your list.

2. View Total Estimated Cost:

   • As you add materials, the tool will automatically calculate the total cost of your project and display it at the top in the Total Estimated Cost section.
   • This total updates in real-time as you add or change material entries.

3. Download Your Estimate:

   • Once you’ve added all the materials for your project, click the Download Estimate (PDF) button to generate a downloadable PDF.
   • The PDF will include all the materials, their costs, quantities, and the total estimated cost.
